Migraciones & Exilios. Cuadernos de la AEMIC acepta contribuciones originales e inéditas que, tras su consideración por el Comité de Redacción, se someten anónimamente al juicio de dos evaluaciones externas, designadas a tal efecto, y una tercera, si es necesario, en caso de resultado contradictorio de las dos anteriores. Así, las contribuciones pueden rechazarse o admitirse siempre que atiendan las recomendaciones de las evaluaciones externas y del Comité de Redacción. Los artículos deberán remitirse junto a una declaración expresa que garantice su plena originalidad, conforme al modelo que puede descargarse en www.aemic.org
Lo presentarán siguiendo estas normas:
- Cada aportación se encabezará con el título en letras mayúsculas. En un renglón más abajo: nombre del autor/a y centro de trabajo o institución a la que pertenece.
- En el caso de los artículos (secciones Dossier y Estudios), el texto se acompañará de un resumen de cien palabras, en español y en inglés, así como de cinco las palabras clave en ambas lenguas. Igualmente se acompañará el título en inglés. Se adjuntará una breve nota curricular del autor, de hasta ciento cincuenta palabras.
- Extensión máxima de los artículos: 8.000 palabras (notas y bibliografía incluidas); de las aportaciones para la sección de Testimonios y Documentos: 6000 palabras (ídem); de las notas: 2.000 palabras; de las reseñas temáticas: 1500 palabras, y de reseñas de libros: 1.000 palabras.
- Se utilizará un único tipo de caracteres para todo el texto, escrito a una sola cara, incluidas las notas: Times New Roman, 12 puntos (texto); 10 puntos (notas). Separación interlineal para todo el texto: 1,5.
- Atributos en el texto: letra cursiva en los títulos de libros, folletos o cabece[1]ras de revistas. Entre comillas: títulos de artículos de publicación periódica, capítulos de libro o textos de obra colectiva.
- Citas de textos: entrecomilladas, excepto si superan las tres líneas. En tal caso, irán en párrafo aparte, sangradas (Times New Roman, 11 puntos) y separación interlineal de un espacio (1).
- Notas aclaratorias de lectura: se reducirán a las estrictamente necesarias. En nota a pie de página se indicarán con numeración arábiga en superíndice (1, 2…), siempre antes del signo de puntuación.
- Referencias bibliográficas y hemerográficas:
Se recurrirá a notas parentéticas a fin de aminorar las notas a pie: (MARTÍNEZ, 2001: 57).
Si se ha mencionado la autoría en la frase, bastará con remitir a la obra directamente (1963: 75 y ss.).
Si no están datadas, se indicará: (s.a.: 63).
Si hay consenso en la fecha de edición, aunque no figure en el pie de imprenta: (h. 1877: 54).
Cuando en el texto se cite el título de una obra de ficción o académica Migraciones y Exilios nº 18, 2019, pp. 225-227. ISSN: 1577-3256 se indicará la fecha de la primera edición; en la bibliografía se recogerá la fecha y la referencia de la edición manejada y, entre corchetes, también la de la primera edición original: ([1910] 1992: 23).
En el apartado de Bibliografía, se seguirán estos criterios:
– Cuando se citen varias obras de un mismo autor, se organizarán por orden cronológico. Si se registran dos obras de igual autoría publica[1]das en el mismo año: (1981a, 1981b, 1981c…). –
Libro de autor único.

- Los artículos pueden estar acompañados de figuras (mapas, imágenes, gráficos, etc.), siempre y cuando estas no superen el número de diez. Además, tienen que estar referenciadas adecuadamente, los derechos de reproducción deben ser señalados y autorizados. Las figuras se enviarán por separado, bien identificadas y en una resolución no menor a 300 ppp.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS
Migraciones & Exilios. Cuadernos de AEMIC accepts original and unpublished contributions. After being considered by the Editorial board all submissions are reviewed anonymously by two external evaluators selected for this purpose. In case of contradictory evaluations a third and deciding opinion will be solicited. Submissions will be rejected or accepted based on these external reviewers recommendations and the author(s)’s ability to address their comments and the Editorial Board’s. The articles must be submitted along with a declaration guaranteeing their full originality, from the model that can be downloaded from our www.aemic.org. The Authors – who will receive a copy of the journal – will be informed of the status of their submission within a maximum term of nine months. Submissions must adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Each submission must include: a cover page with the title in capital letters, the name of the author one line below the title, and their affiliated institution.
2. In the case of articles (Dossier and Estudios sections), the text must be accompanied by a summary of one hundred words, in Spanish and English, as well as five keywords and the title in both languages. The author should include a brief professional biography of up to one hundred and fifty words.
3. Maximum length for Articles: 8,000 words (including notes and bibliography); Testimonios y Documentos sections: 6,000 words (idem); Notes: 2,000 words; Review-Articles: 1,500 words; and Book Reviews: 1,000 words.
4. All submissions must be single sided, Times New Roman, 12-point font for the body and 10-point font for all footnotes. 1.5 inch line spacing throughout the text.
5. Text style: Italics should be used for the title of books, brochures or journals. Quotation marks should be used for titles of journal articles, book chapters or texts of a collective work.
6. Quotations: In-text quotations should be placed in quotation marks. If quotes exceed three lines, they should be set apart in a new paragraph and indented. Block quotes should use Times New Roman, 11-point font and be single-spaced.
7. Notes: Explanatory notes should be kept to only those strictly necessary. They should be placed in a footnote at the bottom of the page. Notes should be listed using Arabic numerals in superscript before the punctuation.
8. Bibliography and source material: parenthetical annotations will be used to reduce footnotes: (MARTÍNEZ, 2001: 57). If the author has been mentioned in the sentence, it should be omitted: (1963: 75 ss.). Indicate sources without a publication date: (s.a.: 63). If there is a consensus on the edition date but it does not appear in the imprint: (h. 1877: 54). When the text cites the title of a work of fiction or academic work, the date of the first edition will be indicated; the bibliography will include the date and the reference of the edition handled and the first original edition in brackets: ([1910]1992: 23).
In the Bibliography section, the criteria are as follows:
– When several works by the same author are cited, they will be organized in chronological order. If two works of equal authorship published in the same year are listed, use the following: (1981a, 1981b, 1981c …).
– A single author book. SURNAME (S), Name [first original edition] (Year of the edition handled). Title of the book. Translator, illustrator, or prologue / epilogue writer (if any). Place of publication: Editorial.
– Book with multiple authors. If there are two: SURNAME (S), Name; SURNAME (S), Name (Year). Title of the book. Translator, illustrator, or prologue / epilogist, etc. More than two authors: SURNAME (S), Name; SURNAME (S) Name; SURNAME (S), Name, et al. (year). Title, etc.
– Institutional Edition. EDITORIAL Institution (Year). Title of the book. Translator, illustrator, or prologue / epilogue writer (if any). Place of Publication: Editorial.
– Article or chapter in collective volume. SURNAME (S), Name (Year). «Title». In Name SURNAME (S) (ed.), Title of the book. Place of publication: Editorial, page (s) (using the abbreviations p./pp.).
– Journal Article. SURNAME (S), Name (Year). «Article title», Name of the journal
(month and / or year), volume, number, page / s (p./pp.).
– Newspaper article. SURNAME (S), Name (Year). «Article title», Name of the newspaper, day-month-year, page (s) (p./pp.).
– File document. «Document title». Place, date, page (s) (p./pp.). File, Section, Documentary Fund, Box or file number.
– Electronic document. «Document title», at http://www.example.com [1 August 2006]. This date in brackets will indicate when the document was consulted.
9. Articles may be accompanied by illustrations (maps, images, graphs, etc.), as long as they do not exceed ten in total. They must be properly referenced and all copyrights acknowledged and cleared. Figures should be sent separately, well identified and in a resolution of no less than 300 dpi.
